Intan is a founding partner of Haryati Deepak.

Intan specialises in structuring, drafting and negotiating information technology contracts, advising clients in relation to setting up electronic and mobile commerce services, as well as on intellectual property and new media related issues.

She has acted on numerous public & private sector IT turnkey contracts, several large financial sector outsourcing projects, and played a key role in the development of several first of its kind electronic financial services deployed in Malaysia. Intan’s clients include major financial institutions, public listed corporations, information technology vendors, software houses and technopreneurs, amongst others.

Intan has been noted in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 as offering a 'very high-quality work with deep technical knowledge, and goes the extra mile to give the customer added value' (2009/2010).

Intan is a member of several information technology and intellectual property associations, including the Licensing Executive’s Society of Malaysia (LESM) and the International Technology Law Association. She is currently serving on the executive committee of LESM.

Prior to establishing the firm, Intan was a partner at Rajes Hisham Pillai & Gopal and was central to the development and success of its IT and IP practice group, which was recognised by the Legal 500 (2005) as “Malaysia’s leading IT and telecoms practice”.

Intan obtained a Second Class (Upper) Honours in Law from the University of Kent at Canterbury (1996), prior to obtaining her Certificate of Legal Practice and being admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1999.
